Our growing manufacturing business has a career opportunity for a full-time Senior Field Services Coordinator.


Essential Functions:

  • Seek out subcontractors and negotiate costs; determine the appropriate sub-contractor(s) for the work from the company's preferred sub-contractor file, contact the sub-contractor and arrange for the appropriate preliminary work
  • Follow company procedures for necessary paperwork and issuance of purchase order
  • Coordinate installation with onsite contacts
  • Manage and track shipping and installation dates
  • Follow-up on sub-contracted preliminary work, ensuring a prompt response
  • Check details of surveys for missing information and return estimate, permit requirements, survey, and other information to the manager
  • Arrange for installation of signs, negotiating a fair price; yielding an acceptable profit margin
  • Follow-up daily on receipt of completion photos, permits, field reports and sub-contractor's invoice
  • Monitor open purchase orders and take appropriate action, according to procedures
  • Receive and process subcontractor invoices and closeout documents
  • Perform necessary SyteLine ERP entry; file necessary paperwork according to procedures
  • Report to a project management team with updates on site conditions, scheduling, etc.


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED; college degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of previous project management or sales coordination experience in the sign industry or similar work
  • Courses or experience in construction management and/or business are ideal, although not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with construction concepts and terminology
  • Must have the ability to self-direct work; exercise independent judgment to formulate and implement solutions
  • Ability to comply with company policies and assist in training and orientation of new employees
  • High level of organizational and communication skills; attention to detail
  • Must be a team player, communicating with co-workers and customers providing information on a timely basis, offering suggestions for improvements, and keeping alert for errors or problems
  • Daily presence and punctuality are necessary for efficient functioning
  • Ability to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and the public at a high level
  • Confident personality to properly negotiate with outside organization contacts, such as installers and general contractors
